“GREEN Haze will be counted in with an uno, dos, tre, when they plug in at Swansea’s Garage, Uplands on Thursday, August 22. The feisty tribute act will get all nostalgic over Green day’s hardcore early days and its later politically-minded, big riffing singalongs.

Doors are open from 6pm and support comes in the shape of the Naked Ape Society, No Glory, and others.

A Farewell message from Tre Paul

Its true Guy’s. I have had ongoing health problem’s with My spine and as You will all know,Its not a good condition for a drummer. I have had such a great time with the mighty Haze during My time on the drum stool. I’ve pushed Myself to the limit and beyond to serve the band as best I can.

Unfortunately My back has deteriorated over the last few month’s and I’ve found it harder and harder to keep up with the Haze’s heavy demand’s that is required to be that drummer so,With dignity and pride I hand over the stick’s to a Man that I can only describe as a f***ing machine. His drumming is beyond anything I have ever seen and I hope You will ALL still support the mighty Green Haze in their quest to be the best tribute act in the whole country and beyond.

Yes I will be seen from time to time behind the stool as and when required. I’m proud to have been part of this awesome band and,have made some life long Friend’s along the way. So I hand the stick’s over to Dos who I’m sure will make the Haze sound even better (if that’s possible) and more powerful.

Thank You Steve,steven,zack and James for all You’re help and support (a lot of it being emotional as I realized I had to give up My position) during this amazing journey. I love You all and hope You go on to be the best band You all aspire to be….. Peace and love to all. (Weep,weep). XXXX.

Green Haze – The Next Chapter!

We have been sitting on this for a little while now until we were 100% sure, but it’s time to make it public now.

Unfortunately, Paul Hewitson (aka Tre Paul) has stepped down as our drummer due to ongoing health reasons. This was a mutual agreement between band members and he will be missed. Paul loved the band and fought hard to avoid this situation, but it just wasn’t to be. He brought much energy to his drumming and was there when we needed him the most and we will always be greateful to him for that.

Paul is not gone or forgotten, and may be behind the drums again for occasional one-off sppearances in the future, so watch this space!

So, it is without further ado that we are pleased to announce the grand return……..of the living legend……..Steve Taplin (DOS COOL)!

Yes, our original drummer has returned to us as full-time drummer. Dos brings with him a lifelong passion for Green Day along with intricate knowledge of every tom and cymbal hit that makes any Green Day song so instantly recognisable.

This really is the next chapter for Green Haze that is going to make us THE best Green Day Tribute band around in both sight, sound and epic showmanship.

We’ll be seeing you on the road. Check out our tour dates and come and see what it’s all about!
