We don't usually post this kinda stuff about Green Day, as 'music' in itself is there for love, unity and happiness across the globe, regardless of ANYTHING else.
That said, we can't let this one pass without a special mention for us Green Day fans 🫶
For the UK, to name an American band's album as our fave Rock of all time, further backed up by Rough Trade themselves - one of THE original British alt labels giving us world-class bands from the likes of Pulp, The Strokes and The Smiths to name a few - just makes the impact that Billie, Mike and Tre have had on all of us growing up and continue to do so to this very day - all that extra bit special.

American Idiot really changed the whole genre didn't it... it was the album that made pop punk "mainstream" (for want of a better word) as well as GD themselves.
If I'd have realised I could vote, it would have been an extra vote!!! I have 5 fave artists that do pretty much play through my playlist constantly. Have always been a fan of Green Day since I were about 10 (thats when I realise im OLD!!) But they didn't hit hard until I got into my late teens, early 20s, and then they have been a staple band since 💖💖 That's a good 3 decades 💖💖 What i love about them is their music never gets old. What i hate is the fact of what theyre singing about hasmt changed in all this time!! And it should have by now 😢

Back in 1991, on the 9th of December, a little known band from California USA were branching out and trying to make a name for themselves over here in the UK.
One of the first EVER gigs they played in the UK was on this very date, in Huddersfield, at what was then Top Spot Snooker club on Wakefield Road. It went down a storm (as you can imagine) and soon they were on the road to becoming the Green Day they are today, world conquering. It started here.

It's always a pleasure being in Cornwall in the sunny summer weather, but hanging with you guys at the 2025 Cornwall Tattoo Convention on Sunday was next level awesome - so much so that Green Haze ourselves got some new ink done as well.
We had a blast spending the day there, meeting up with Green Haze fam old and new and meeting a ton of new friends as well from near and as far as Germany!
Also cool to bump into a certain Mr. Barlow from a lil band called Neck Deep who was also there in the crowd rocking out to our set. We know you guys do a cover version of 'Welcome To Paradise', so we hope you liked our version 🤣 Thanks mate!
Finally, biggest thanks to the team and staff at the convention, sound and stage - thanks for having us and we hope to see you all again at some point.
